Animal Communication
Animal communication is really just telepathy. Telepathy is often defined as "the transmission of feelings, concepts, or information over distance by using the mind."
We have all experienced thinking of someone for a couple of days and then they call on the phone. We think it is only coincidence, but it is really a form of telepathy. It happens all the time without us even being aware of it. Animal communication is really no different. It is just a more focused and intentional use of telepathy.
For me, animal communication is sacred listening with Love. It is being connected heart-to-heart with the true spirit and essence of the animal to find out what he or she has to say. Recognizing the spiritual essence of animals and respecting them as intelligent beings is the real key to successful communication.
It is also important to remember that animals are telepathic beings and so they understand your intentions, emotions, images, and/or thoughts regardless of what you “say”. Yes, they even respond to what you think often before you even speak.
Purpose
An Animal Communicator can help you understand your friend on a deeper and more respectful level. Animals are not dumb as many of us have been taught. They are incredible beings with thoughts, feelings, and spiritual awareness. If we listen to them, they have much to teach us.
There are many reasons to utilize an Animal Communicator. The most common are:
 |
What is causing an illness? |
 |
What is causing behavior issues? |
 |
How best can I help my friend heal? |
 |
Is my friend happy? |
 |
Does my friend want to tell me anything? |
 |
Is it time to help my friend pass on? |
 |
My friend is lost, can you help me find him/her? |
Illness & Behavioral Issues
As a Medical Intuitive, I view the physical body as a symptom site. The physical body merely reflects the result of what is happening on a deeper level. So when we develop an illness, there is an underlying cause such as an emotion or a pattern of thinking that creates an imbalance within us. We do not know that we need to look deeper, so we treat the physical body only. Sometimes an illness is “cured”, but another illness will take its place. This cycle continues until we address the underlying issue.
Animals are no different. They too have emotions and patterns of thinking that create imbalance within them. This can manifest as illness and behavioral issues. By talking to the spiritual essence of an animal, one can usually discover the underlying issues and negotiate a resolution.
Healing
Like humans, animals respond well to alternative healing methods such as Intuitive Energy Medicine (Reiki, Flower Essences, Essential Oils) and a host of other more well-known alternatives such as Chiropractic and Accupressure.
The important thing to remember when working with an illness or behavioral issue is to treat the whole being. That means working with the body, mind, and spirit so that healing occurs on the deepest levels possible. This is true for animals and humans alike.
Intuitive Energy Medicine is one way to treat the whole being. It can help release imbalance in the physical body, address emotions and patterns of thinking, and open one to their spiritual essence and self-Love. It is through the spiritual essence that true and lasting healing occurs.
Transition
When an animal is very sick, has become infirm from age, or is suffering; many of us begin to consider euthanasia. We consider this only because we want to spare our friend unnecessary pain and excessive suffering. It is a difficult and painful decision that fills us with guilt, doubt, and grief.
Finding out what the animal wants can help take the uncertainty out of this decision. It is important that the animal's wishes be considered along with yours so that the most respectful decision possible can be made. Facilitating this process is a sacred trust and a responsibility I take very seriously.
Helping an animal move on can be a beautiful and profound experience of sharing love and memories and saying good-bye. It can be done in ceremony with dignity, reverence, and peace. In this way, the transition is less stressful for the animal, you, and your family. Everyone has an opportunity for closure.

Food For Thought
All beings on this Earth were created from Divine Love. We each hold within us a spark of Divine Light that unites us in the family of life. This makes us all relatives, each with a purpose for being. When we acknowledge that animals are part of our family, we begin to see them with different eyes and we expand as human beings.
Chief Dan George said:
If you talk with the animals
they will talk with you
and you will know each other.
If you do not talk with them,
you will not know them.
And what you do not know you will fear.
What one fears, one destroys.
